i'm feeling: tired
I knew when I woke up this morning that this day had the potential to end very badly for me.
( I was right. )( Cut for movie spoilers. )
Apparently, I'm going to see it again, tomorrow!

Title: Pop Culture
Characters: Lily/James
Rating: PG
Summary: "Still in love with Bewie, then?" Tea, '70s music and a mild lack of clothing.
Disclaimer: Not mine, never was, never will be. These gorgeous characters, of course, belong to the lovely JK Rowling.
Author's Note: This was really inspired by a line in 'Those to Come', by The Shins. The part that goes, 'Making tea in your underwear.' I just love that imagery every time I listen to that song.
Title: Early Discussions
Pairing: James/Lily
Rating: PG, to be on the safe side.
Summary: "How would you feel about-" James paused, "about getting married?" James and Lily discuss their future.
Word Count: ~2300
Disclaimer: The lovely JK Rowling owns these two wonderful characters. I just like to play with them. Jane and Emma are, however, my own creations.
Author's Note: I assume James and Lily talked about getting married before diving in. Lily seems a rational sort of girl. I got sick of waiting for my sister to beta this, so I'm posting it now. Any mistakes are, therefore, mine.
Stephenie Meyer must cop a lot of heat over Twilight. I mean, she's Mormon. Surely vampires aren't really high up on the list of godly creatures. You'd think the people in her church wouldn't very happy about it all. Does anyone know?
Anyway, I was thinking about the Potters today. Raise your hand if you think Harry was an accident. Yeah, I think so. An accident kid saves the world. Nice. I was an accident. I'm not even bitter about it, because the story is funny. For some reason, mum and dad weren't using... protectives... and mum was sure it wasn't safe for them to have a good, ah, jump on the bed. Dad was adamant that it was. Dad won out. They had a little bet about whether it was safe or not. Mum got pregnant, and she won the bet, hehe. I won a bet for my mother. I'm so proud. :D
So, I see I'm just starting to post random things I think of. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but oh well.
Is it odd that the quote, 'The fact that Harry Potter was going out with Ginny Weasley...' makes me immensely happy? Like, even more so than when they kissed in the chapter before? Well, just as happy, anyway.
It was weird though, last night I all of a sudden really missed JKR's writing style, so I read the good bits from Half-Blood Prince. It's sad knowing that they definitely aren't going to do the book justice with the movie. I hope they'll at least have good Harry/Ginny shippy moments. And I really hope Harry is super annoying. Because that's one of the defining points of the book. The basic plot is the kids play the dating game for five hundred pages, and Harry is incredibly annoying. I mean, with Order, I was waiting for Harry to start yelling at everyone, and he never did. I was greatly vexed, hehe. So I hope he's as annoying as he is in the book.
I really need to read 1984. Really. English is only a few weeks away!
Wow, I haven't written fic in so long. At least, fic I was remotely happy with.
Title: Small Annoyances and a Distinct Lack of Concentration
Author: My bad self, shmobeline.
Rating: G
Characters: Lily!centric, fly-by mentions of James and McGonagall.
Warnings: None.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. I don't even wish I owned it. Way too much bother.
Summary: Lily gets distracted, but not by what you'd assume.
Author's Note: I guess sometimes I want to read fics about normal life, and when I can't find them I resort to writing my own.
Okay, so I'm pretty sure that I'm like, the last person to hear about this, but whatever.
JK drew up a family tree for all the cool people. Oh, plus Harry and Ginny's kids. Their names are ridiculous. James Sirius [JSP] (I so knew his second name was Sirius!), Albus Severus [ASP... *grins*.] (whom everyone thinks has two first names. He doesn't.), and Lily Luna [LLP]. Lol! Lily Luna! Where was Ginny when the naming was going on in that family? They are all just named after people. Maybe Harry just isn't very creative and/or imaginative.
So anyway, Draco married Astoria Greengrass! I always knew those Greengrasses were super hot, hehe. And lol! Scorpius Hyperion [SHM]! What is with the Harry Potter canon naming their kids stupid names! Although, Scorpius Hyperion is so much better than Albus Severus. I could so see Scorpius turning out to be like... a ninja. Albus'll just grow up to be a stuffy old wizard with a massive white beard. Oh wait, is that reflecting on Dumbledore? Nah, he wasn't like that. Albus will be though. Actually, come to think of it, I wonder what Draco's middle name is... prolly something weird. Like Maj... estorium. Majestorium. Draco Majestorium. The majestic dragon. Yeah!
You know who has the coolest kids, though? Bill and Fleur. Victoire was named Victoire because she was born on the anniversary of the Hogwarts battle, where they were victorious! How cool is that? She has two brothers; one named Dominique, and I can't remember the other guy's name.
EDIT: I have since realised that Dominique is actually a girl. Sorry 'bout that, Dom.
George married Angelina (!). Apparently they're happy. Not sure Fred would be, as Angelina was his girlfriend. 'Til, you know, he died. Anyway, they had two kids named Fred and Roxanne. Roxanne! Up until the next generation, JK was awesome at naming people. I don't know whether it's her or 'the characters'' doing, but the new kids have some truly crap names.
Oh! Luna married a Skamander! How cool is that? Pity I can't remember his first name. Their kids are Lucan and Lysander. Lysander Skamander. Now there is a name Luna would be proud of.
Anyway, I started this post a couple of days ago and now I'm gonna finish it. I'm gonna go sleep at my sister's house and watch Black Books and Life on Mars with her. And possibly-though-I-doubt-it Blink. Blink is apparently extremely scary. Damn Stephen Moffat and his thriller episodes.
And lol, Life on Mars. I watched that last week. funniest bit was when that-other-partner-guy asked Sam if he was listening for some 'indian drums'. Ba ha ha! And if you don't get why that's funny, you should go watch Utopia, The Sound of Drums, and The Last of the Timelords, then come back and tell me that isn't funny.
Oh. I just looked on the TV guide website, and it turns out Life on Mars has a sex scene in it this week. Well, I'll be leaving the room for that. Unless that's just the warning for the overall show. Yeah, that could be it. either way, at least I won't be watching it with Mum. Thank goodness for that.
